Tyler & Delaney met at one of Tylers birthday parties that a friend of his was throwing him, back in 2014. Delaney did not even know who Tyler was but decided to go anyway, thankfully she did because that is where they exchanged phone numbers and of course, became snapchat friends.




Fast forward two years, December 2016 when Delaney moved back home from Louisiana from college and Tyler was in town for Christmas break. After a few cocktails, Delaney got the courage to message Tyler.




She snapchatted him on Christmas Day 2016 “when are we going to hangout” and his response “what are you doing tomorrow?” ... and thats how this love story started.




Tyler and Delaney went on to do long distance until 2018. Around this time Delaney finished getting her MBA and was going to start looking for a career - so they decided it was time for Delaney to move to College Station, TX where Tyler was going to school at TEEX Fire Academy. This is where they shared their first apartment together.




While Tyler was deciding on where he was going to take a firefighting career (anticipating a move to either Fort Worth or Austin, Tx), Delaney moved back home to CA to be able to see her first two nephews being born, Teddy and Beau. That caused another year apart doing long distance again while Tyler went through the fire academy with Fort Worth Fire.




When 2020 rolls around Tyler took advantage of the market and was able to buy his first home, and that is when Delaney moved back to TX to finally settle down and start a life together. Through support of family and friends they have been able to build a community along with a Texas family to get them through the days of missing California. After a long time of Delaney convincing Tyler, they got Zane the Great Dane (the best boy there ever was) to add so much joy and love to their home.




The past couple years Tyler and Delaney have been enjoying the amazing life they have been building together in Fort Worth and cannot wait to see what the next chapter holds!
